Below you'll find Rebecca Dru's recordings from her years in the music business. Her LOVE of music and sound is so deep that she wanted to explore various types of music that were presented to her.  In the 70's from her hit rare Euro Disco singles from Brother & Sister, to her singer songwriter days. Did you know in the 70's she was on Dick Clark's American Bandstand? In 1986 she was voted one of the Top Ten New Country Artists at the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville and nominated for a Grammy in the 90'?  Her multi-award winning lullaby albums in English and Italian versions have touched people all over the world.

My passions are so many! In this CD, Canti Notturni, I was able to combine my love of travel, my love of learning, my love of composing, my love of people and singing and reconnecting with a dear soul who so affected my life as a teenager, it was the universe giving us an opportunity to create magnificence. In 1985, Rebecca Dru was asked to write the music for a song contest in Wichita, Kansas by her writing partner, Larry Caldwell (a Wichita native); The City needed a theme song.  Though they didn't choose their song, the public and the radio stations did and they had a hit on their hands which lead them Nashville and the Grand Ole Opry and on to the Arkansas River Festival.  When Ann Oldenburg of USA TODAY heard her voice, she said, “Anyone who listens will fall under the spell of Rebecca Dru’s rich vocals and dreamy lyrics.”

Do you love to dance... ever listen to our "Rare" Euro hit "Midnight Desire" or "Rock it Down" by Brother & Sister? My oldest brother Ian & I wrote and produced this back in the late 70's...he was a Hot Club DJ...I was a singer/songwriter who loved to go out and dance in his clubs..so we banded together with some great Minneapolis musicians who worked with PRINCE, Tower of Power and Crusaders Brass, LA PHIL Legendary Engineer Barney Perkins, Michael & Dianne Wright of the Wright Connection, Deborah Duncan, Telma Hopkins (from Tony Orlando and Dawn) and other greats...and recorded these tunes. I get people writing me daily how much they love it! Almost 40 years later it's getting released and played again...all around the world...
